Backend mode

Client lifecycle — iOS can turn the backend on in the foreground and off in the background when the user enables Auto and CLIENT_LIFECYCLE_TOKEN is set.

Backend schedule — Uses the on/off windows in Settings. Outside those windows the backend stays off.

Backend on — Stays running until you change mode or daily key allowances are exhausted.
